Howdy!
The postal service rewarded my patience, and today I was able to unbox my proofs for both the hardcover and paperbacks with sprayed edges. This was legit me once I opened them:
I think everyone snagging the sprayed edges will be delighted by them! At first I was like "wow these are really expensive..." but they are works of art. They are WORTH IT. These are beauties you'll want to have the pages facing outward, proudly!
And the best part? If you want to have your own, there are still some slots available as addons, or in the tiers!
But don't take my word for it. Here's a picture of my paperback set--a picture that doesn't do them justice. No picture can. You need to see them with your eyeballs.
And I'm going to tell you a little secret...the paperbacks look THE BEST with the edges. (Don't get me wrong, the hardcovers are ahhhh-mazing with them, too. But the paperbacks? The image just flows, smooth as butter.) Only one person has claimed paperback sprayed edges so far! If that's you...well, you're going to love them. And if it's not you, then...it could be you. What's stopping you?

Howdy!
I come with loads more great news for you, so buckle up because we're in the home stretch and you're gonna be getting more awesome things.
First, we hit our stretch goal so everyone gets to see the deleted scene from Dreamer, yay!
Now we're on to our next goal, which is a color town map to be included in every edition (digital, paperback, hardcover).
So don't forget to tell your friends, family, frenemies, random people at the grocery store, the coffee shop barista, and everyone else about this Kickstarter! Every new backer helps get us closer and this map will be an amazing addition!
But wait, there's more! Since we're in the homestretch, I'm also opening up drumroll DAILY PERKS! Stick around to the end of the campaign and you get all this goodness.

Stretch Goal Early Unlock, Sprayed Edges, and New Addons?! 👀

Howdy!
I come bearing lots of news, so let's get down to it...
First, I'm giving us an early unlock of our first stretch goal, the wallpaper, since we're so darn close! That means we're on to the second stretch goal, which is a deleted scene from Dreamer. It was a super fun scene to write, and I'm a little sad it had to end up on the cutting room floor (so to speak) but now you have a chance to see it once it unlocks! Woohoo!
Second, did you see the real, live sprayed edges?! 😍 They are insanely awesome! Mind blown! But here they are in case you missed it:
Third, I just added new addons including a limited number of sprayed edges for paperback and hardcover collections. The sprayer I'm using has limited availability which is why these puppies were in deluxe boxes to start with. (And I know the spraying is pricey as an addon, but this is 5 books with a cohesive design. So that's a big chunk of why they're spendy.)
Other new addons in limited quantities include:
Pegasus keychain and stamped necklace
Blaise's Blend Coffee and an authentic coffee cake recipe
Pegasus cookie cutter and Blaise's Sugar Cookie Recipe

Happy Monday! Today is the first day of Spring Break for my kids, so if I'm a little more manic than usual this week that's going to be why.
I'm so excited to show you the images I received from my custom edge sprayed for the Deluxe Edition books. They are gorgeous!
The sample sets of the paperbacks and hardcovers are being shipped to me, so provided they get here before the campaign ends I can take deeper dives into how they look. But so far they are amazing!

I wanted to drop a quick update that I've done some tweaking to the Book Box tiers and they ALL now have Payment Plan options! I know they have some shiny things and the initial price tag may have been a challenge, but I hope that this change will make it easier for those who are interested.
